From firefighting equipment to water pumps and sprayers, Goscor Power Products has a diverse product range specifically for the agricultural industry. This year sees it launch several new engine products at NAMPO 2017.
A member of industrial equipment supplier the Goscor Group, itself part of Industrial Services Holdings (InServe), Goscor Power Products will showcase its service and product offering to the agricultural industry at Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day 2017 from 16 to 19 May near Bothaville in the Free State.
“We are very much involved in the agricultural industry, with many of our products aimed at this particular market,” Goscor Power Products’ Managing Director Mark Bester points out. He adds that it “also supplies co-operatives”, another key market segment. “The Goscor Group stand is much better-positioned at NAMPO 2017, which will attract a greater number of feet and result in even more visitors than the previous years.”
A highlight of Goscor Power Products’ presence at Nampo 2017 will be its launch of the new Rato engine brand, which can be incorporated into bakkie-mounted firefighting equipment as rapid-response units for the farming community.
“We will also have our full range of water pumps on display, in addition to special products such as diesel-driven irrigation pumps for remote farming areas where electricity supply is constrained,” Bester elaborates. Another new brand to be introduced to the Goscor Power Products’ stable at NAMPO 2017 will be WEIMA diesel engines for welding gensets.
Goscor Power Products’ Free State and Northern Cape dealerships will be represented fully at the event, with extra stock available at nearby Bothaville at special NAMPO 2017 prices. “This is a unique sell-and-fetch service we will introduce at the event for the first time, giving us a distinct competitive edge,” Bester stresses.
Live demonstrations at the Goscor Group stand will give visitors insight into how the various firefighting equipment actually operates, and what the tangible benefits and advantages are for the farming community in terms of reduced total cost of ownership. “We will also be running some of our gensets in order to demonstrate specific features such as the low decibel levels,” Bester points out.
He predicts that the combination of existing and new product launches, combined with the overall Goscor Group presence, will result in high visibility and success for Goscor Power Products at NAMPO 2017. “We are going to have a lot more products than ever before, in addition to the presence of some of our key dealers.”
The fact that farmers will also be able to avail themselves of NAMPO 2017 special deals at the Bothaville branch is an added attraction for visitors keen to acquire the latest technology at the most competitive prices. “What we hope to achieve at NAMPO 2017 is to bring our extensive stable of brands to the attention of the farming community, and to give them an opportunity to interact with us and find out more.
“Nothing beats seeing the products themselves on our stand, coupled with live demonstrations, in order to showcase all of the features and benefits, and also to educate the farming community about additional applications they may not even have considered. We are punting ourselves as a total solutions provider to the farming community. Of course, the cherry on the cake will be our highly enticing deals at NAMPO 2017, where our cost-competitiveness will be second to none,” Bester concludes.
Last year the 50th anniversary of the annual four-day event attracted a record 75 116 visitors and a total of 685 exhibitors. The Goscor Group has secured a prime outdoor stand this year, and will be out in force, showcasing the latest products and solutions from Goscor Power Products, Goscor Compressed Air Systems, Bobcat and Sany, and Goscor Cleaning Equipment.

Dear Valued Dealer / Customer,
Goscor Power Products began a process in January 2026 to exit the sector in which it has operated for many years.
The initial intention was to sell the business as a going concern. As this was ultimately not possible, Goscor Power Products proceeded with winding up the business through the sale of its remaining stock to customers.
It is important to clarify that there has been no takeover or purchase of the Goscor Power Products business. The process has involved the sale of stock only.
Over the past few months, Goscor Power Products has successfully disposed of its remaining stock. While this stock was purchased by a number of customers, KLB Engineering has been the largest purchaser of Goscor Power Products products and spare parts.
As a result, KLB Engineering is well positioned to assist customers who may continue to require a significant number of the products and spare parts previously supplied by Goscor Power Products.
Customers requiring products or spare parts are encouraged to contact:
