Good Vibrations from Goscor in Construction (Mar '10)

Construction equipment supplier Goscor Power Products is shaking up the market with the addition of a purpose designed and built vibratory plate compactor (VPC) to its already wide range of light construction products.

Because the nature of their work puts great strain on VPCs, Goscor’s new vibrator is built extra strong to last the distance. The machine, dubbed TKP-90, is powered by a tough petrol-driven Robin-Subaru 5HP engine that comes with a two year warranty.

The TKP-90 complements the already tried and trusted 9HP TKP-110 vibrator.

As its model number implies, the new machine weighs in at just 90kg even though it has an extra thick steel base plate for long-lasting operational life.

“This machine has been designed and built to be user-friendly,” says Goscor Power Products (GPP) national sales manager Mark Bester. “It has been equipped with a lifting hook and a wheel kit can be supplied for easy transport.”

The TKP-90 has an exciter speed of 5 200rpm, a travel speed of around 25m/min, a grade ability of 23 degrees and a centrifugal force of 16.5kN giving a compaction depth of 25cm. “It is designed to enhance efficiency and productivity significantly,” adds Bester.
